Who Is PAWS?

Bean2Bean PAWS Roast at the PAWS Olde City location in Philadelphia.

PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) is Philadelphia's largest rescue partner and provider of affordable veterinary care for pet owners who could not otherwise access it. They are working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city by rescuing the most vulnerable dogs and cats from the city shelter, providing the medical care they need, finding them loving adopters, and by keeping beloved pets out of shelters in the first place. PAWS has three locations - a clinic/shelter in Grays Ferry, an adoption center in Old City, and a clinic/adoption center in the Northeast - and serves approximately 35,000 pets each year.

How We’re Helping

Proceeds from the PAWS Roast help provide food, shelter, and vet care to animals like Denise.

Proceeds from PAWS' roast will be used to provide veterinary care, nutritious food, and safe housing for homeless pets until PAWS matches them with forever homes. Every time PAWS places an animal with an adopter or foster, they rescue another pet waiting for the same chance.
